RCSS Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year will be held at Tabernacle Elementary School on Tuesday March 10th from 5-7pm. This event will be floating. To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026.
Be sure to bring the following items with you to Registration:
-Driver's license (or picture ID)
-Certified copy of Child's birth certificate
-Child's immunization record
-Utility bill with current 911 address, or lease agreement
-Custody papers (if applicable)

At Monday evening’s meeting, the Randolph County Board of Commissioners approved a significant increase in local funding for the Randolph County School System for the 2026–2027 school year. This investment reflects a strong commitment to supporting student success and strengthening educational opportunities across our school system.

The leadership of our school system extends our sincere appreciation to the County Commissioners for their continued support of our schools, staff, and students. We also thank the members of the Board of Education for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout the budget development process. 🏫 Tabernacle Summer Office Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 5:30pm. Closed on Friday. If you need to come by or call the school, please come during these hours.

✅ If your child was absent on the last day of school, their final report card and supplies are in the front office. Please stop by and pick it up as soon as possible.

Tabernacle Elementary presents Under the Sea Transition Night. Dive into a night of learning and exploration. Join us as we celebrate your child’s growth and get ready for the next big adventure. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Tabernacle Elementary School. During the evening, families will explore what their child has learned this year, receive important end-of-year information, travel to the next grade level, and meet teachers while learning expectations for the upcoming school year. 🖍️ Rising Kindergarten Students- If you have a child who will turn 5 on or before August 31, 2026, please come by the school to get them enrolled for next school year. Also, please help us to pass this information along to anyone that lives in the Tabernacle district that has a child who will be in Kindergarten next school year. To enroll your child you will need to bring your driver’s license or picture ID, a certified copy of your child’s birth certificate, a current immunization record, a current utility bill or lease agreement, and any applicable custody papers.
